In 1963, the Honorable A. S. Herlong Jr. of Florida gave remarks in the US House of Representatives on the current goals of communism. Citing the list of goals published in Cleon Shousen’s book, The Naked Communist,” Herlong’s speech included goal number 26, “Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as ‘normal, natural, healthy.'”
This is a very curious connection, but as they say, hindsight is 20/20. And in retrospect, the connection between homosexuality and communism can be seen and demonstrated, and clearly exists among grantees of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.

The Northwest Bronx Community & Clergy Coalition (NWBCCC) received a $35,000 from the CCHD for fiscal year 2014-2015. The Reform CCHD Now coalition reported on this organization back in 2012, and at that time, pointed out that NWBCCC’s project called Sistas and Brothas United was directly involved in the promotion of homosexuality and communist activities.
For instance, in 2012, the former head of Sistas and Brothas United (SBU) was Shaun Lin, which you can see from this screen capture here.
As the youth organizer for SBU, Shaun Lin ran a google group devoted to informing and inspiring his followers to action. From this series of posting in 2010, Lin makes very clear his intention to move his youth in the direction of homosexual activism.
In this third example of Lin’s postings from 2011, he mixes homosexual activism with an encouragement for Marxist revolution.
It isn’t by accident that both Lin and his successor, Fernando Carlo were active participants in the communist affiliated Left Forum. Since 2012, even though Lin has departed NWBCCC, the promotion of homosexual activism at this organization continues as its project Sistas and Brothas United. Just look at its announcement on facebook that it launched its own gay-straight alliance.
The sad fact is that communism and homosexuality have long been constant bed-fellows, and it is largely due to the fact that one of Communism’s goals for at least 50 years has been to “Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as ‘normal, natural, healthy.'” But even more tragically, is the fact that these communists are using the Catholic Church in order to fund their goals, and the Catholic Campaign for Human Development has been a willing dupe for the past 40 years.
